The Les Fogueres Market will open its doors on June 18th. This edition is particularly special as Alicante's designation as Spain's Gastronomic Capital will be prominently featured. Thanks to collaboration with the Alicante City Council, special activities highlighting local cuisine will be offered in the early days.
Additionally, from noon until the mascletà, there will be a special promotion offering a beer with a local tapa prepared by the Maestral kitchen team.
As every year, the Market will be open from June 18th to 24th starting at 12 PM, with free entry for all. In the evenings, during the initial days, the market will close at midnight on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th to avoid disturbing residents, and on the main festival days, it will close at 4:30 AM.
To enjoy all the food and drinks on offer, tickets must be purchased at designated booths. Each ticket is worth one euro and can be exchanged for desired products once inside. New this year, unique tickets worth seven euros will be available for exchange for drinks.
In the afternoons, the best music and atmosphere await at the Market. Confirmed DJs for this year include Suzukid, Cristian Set Roc, Nando Costa, Aaron Varry, Mitch Vam Staveren, Iván Suel, Rocía Saiz, Carlos B Side, Ostras Pedrín, Isaac Corrales, Dani del Lio, and Pepe Difenders.
The Market also maintains its commitment to inclusion. Once again, this leisure space will ensure universal accessibility for all attendees, avoiding architectural barriers and providing adapted restrooms for those with reduced mobility.
The Les Fogueres Market, located on the Paseo Federico Soto, opposite El Corte Inglés, spans over 1,500 square meters and features several bars and spaces to enjoy the best local cuisine and atmosphere. Over 200 professionals will manage catering, security, cleaning, and public service to ensure, once again, that the Market is the traditional meeting point for locals and visitors during these vibrant days.
