José María Riaño, the Secretary General of ANESDOR (National Association of Two-Wheel Sector Companies), has been re-elected as a member of the Executive Committee of ACEM (European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers). The appointment was confirmed at the General Assembly of the entity, held at Honda's headquarters in Barcelona.

This marks the fourth consecutive time Riaño has taken on this responsibility, representing the collective of national motorcycle industry associations in Europe.

ANESDOR, a member of ACEM since 1994, thus strengthens its influence and impact on key sector decisions at the European level.

José María Riaño expressed his gratitude and commitment following the re-election: "It is an honour and a responsibility to continue for the next three years on the ACEM Executive Committee. It is a privileged position for the Spanish sector. Coordinating the work of all national associations with ACEM is essential to establish joint policies that strengthen the motorcycle industry in various areas."

The ACEM Executive Committee is chaired by Michele Colaninno, CEO of the Piaggio Group, and includes Markus Flasch (CEO of BMW Motorrad) and Vito Cicchetti (Head of Business Transformation Planning at Honda Europe) as vice presidents. It is completed by the top leaders of major brands such as Claudio Dominicale (CEO of Ducati) and Éric de Seynes (CEO of Yamaha Motor Europe).

Under the presidency of José Correia Luis (director of Honda's motorcycle division for Spain and Portugal), ANESDOR represents more than 95% of the Spanish market for motorcycles and light vehicles, including manufacturers, importers, component and accessory companies, and motorcyclist protection equipment.
