'La Revuelta' by David Broncano continues to collect awards, sweeping the Iris Awards of the Television Academy and the Audiovisual Arts and Sciences, at a gala held this Monday night at the Gran Teatro Caixabank Príncipe Pío in Madrid. The show, hosted by David Broncano, took home four awards. In addition to the award for Best Entertainment Script, Best Program Direction, which went to David Broncano, and Best Entertainment Program, 'La Revuelta' capped the night with the award for Best Entertainment Program Presenter for David Broncano, defeating Pablo Motos, Ramón García, and Carlos Sobera.

"I wanted to thank 'El Hormiguero' for the award, it's not ironic," Broncano began. "Last year, after the Punic Wars when the show reached RTVE, I was watching El Hormiguero, and seeing such a powerful and established program is like with athletes, having a tough rival makes you play better. When we were on Movistar, La Resistencia was wonderful, but we had to take a step further on RTVE, and if we hadn't had a television juggernaut in front of us, we wouldn't have stepped up," he added.

"I think they have also been activated and stimulated by what we do, and they continue to be what they have always been, a program with great guests and a leader, it's not ironic, I appreciate the competition they provide," continued the presenter of 'La Revuelta'.

To conclude, Broncano also wanted to thank the awards received to "all the people who did not get carried away by the label of communist demon pamphlet pro-government program that we had been given and supported us when we were in a difficult position, and thanks to that support, we did not derail."

The award for Best Current Affairs Program Presenter went to Silvia Intxaurrondo, while the award for Best News Presenter went to Carlos Franganillo of Informativos Telecinco. The award for Best Actress went to Candela Peña for 'El caso Asunta', which also won the award for Best Fiction of the previous year, while in the male category, the winner was Alberto San Juan for 'Cristóbal Balenciaga', which also won the Iris Award for Best Original Platform Content for the Spanish Market.
