Victoria López-Quesada's wedding continues to make headlines. While the spotlight was initially on King Felipe and his sister Cristina, who made their first public appearance together in years over the weekend, it is now Irene Urdangarín, the youngest of the Urdangarín family, who is drawing attention. The magazine '¡Hola!' revealed that Irene attended the aristocrat's pre-wedding party with Juan Urquijo, her cousin, marking their first appearance as a couple at a family event.

Irene Urdangarin and Juan Urquijo's love story began as a lifelong friendship but has evolved into a more special relationship in recent months. Despite being discreet, the young couple did not hide their relationship and attended the pre-wedding celebration together, held at La Favorita restaurant in Chamberí. The lively evening saw nearly a hundred guests, including close family and friends of the bride and groom, such as Fernando Fitz-James Stuart, Duke of Huéscar, and Boris Sajonia-Coburgo-Gotha, Prince of Tírnovo. Also in attendance were the couple's siblings, Miguel Urdangarín and Teresa Urquijo, who arrived with her husband José Luis Martínez-Almeida, the Mayor of Madrid.

Irene and Juan come from families closely connected by blood and friendship. They are direct descendants of King Alfonso XII, and their families have maintained a close relationship for generations. However, it was last Christmas when their friendship took a romantic turn. Reunited in Madrid after years apart, they were surprised by the connection they felt. Destiny brought them together partly thanks to Irene's brothers, who are close friends of Juan Urquijo.

Despite being physically separated for some time while Irene volunteered in Cambodia this year, the couple has continued their romance. This experience will help them face the new chapter ahead when Irene moves to England for her university studies. The pre-wedding party of Victoria López-Quesada seems to demonstrate their commitment to continuing their love story. During the party, which lasted until midnight, they appeared relaxed and close. They left the restaurant together in Juan's car, accompanied by Miguel Urdangarín.

Irene is not the only one among Infanta Cristina's children experiencing a beautiful love story. Her brothers Miguel and Pablo have also found partners recently. Miguel has started a relationship with Olympia, a friend from his school days. Although they have known each other for years, they only recently began dating and have been seen together in Madrid.

Meanwhile, Pablo Urdangarin is in a well-established relationship with Johanna Zott, who is frequently seen at his handball matches alongside Infanta Cristina or Iñaki Urdangarin in the stands, well integrated into the family.

As for the eldest Urdangarin sibling, Juan, there have been conflicting stories about his love life. Recently, rumors suggested he had gone through a breakup and was returning to Spain after leaving his job in London—speculations that his circle quickly denied. According to close sources, Juan remains single and focused on his professional life in London.
