In a recital that blends music and words, Irene de Juan Bernabéu will perform pieces by Debussy, Chopin, Granados, and Beethoven. These melodies will converse with the pianist and communicator this Thursday, 5th June, at the Mediterranean Foundation in Alicante.
This proposal, the recital 'The Trace of the Word', will close the series 'The Foundation's Concerts', held at 7 PM at the Cultural Hall at number one, Doctor Gadea Avenue.
On this occasion, the Mediterranean Foundation offers an experience where music and language intertwine with an emotional and narrative programme exploring the works of these composers.
The audience will enjoy a guided piano interpretation, where Irene de Juan Bernabéu will comment on each piece and provide listening keys that reveal how words, explicit or implicit, can leave a mark on the structure and meaning of music.
The evening will culminate with the performance of Beethoven's 'Sonata op. 110', one of his last compositions, laden with symbolism, introspection, and expressive density.
The format of the commented recital, a distinctive mark of Irene de Juan, transforms the concert into a space of discovery, reflection, and dialogue between art and thought.
