Investigation into Possible Animal Cruelty as Dead Horse Found in Ravine

Local Police in Petrer are investigating a potential case of animal cruelty after discovering a dead horse in the Puça ravine on Wednesday, according to municipal sources. Officers arrived at the scene following a report, where they found the animal's body and began their inquiries.

However, initial investigations proved unsuccessful. The attempt to read the chip to identify the animal's owner was unsuccessful. Therefore, the investigation continues to determine how the horse ended up there under such circumstances.

The department's technicians have already initiated the necessary operation to remove the animal from the ravine.
