One of the segments experiencing significant growth is that of mid-sized trail bikes. These versatile motorcycles have recently become a favourite for travel, tourism, and occasional off-road adventures without too many commitments. This category is attracting the attention of many manufacturers striving to offer high-quality, cost-effective options. The Chinese brand QJ Motor has just unveiled a model that boasts many features to appeal to young riders fitting this profile.
The SRT 600 SX is positioned within the Trail Adventure segment and arrives packed with technology: a 7'' colour TFT display with mirroring connectivity, switchable ABS and TCS, two riding modes, auxiliary lights, and heated grips and seats adjustable to three levels, among other features.
This new model is aimed at those seeking their first A2 Trail bike with the full permissible power (47 HP) from its twin-cylinder engine –4T, LC, 8V, DOHC, IE– of 554 cc. Additionally, the SRT 600 SX can be unrestricted to increase its power to 56 HP.
The suspension is provided by Marzocchi, featuring a multi-adjustable inverted fork and a rear monoshock. Braking is handled by dual 320 mm front discs with Brembo radial calipers, and a Bosch ABS that can be disabled on the rear wheel. The spoked wheels are tubeless, with a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear, fitted with Metzeler Tourance mixed tyres, sized 110/80 and 150/70.
The seat height is 845 mm, and with a 20.5-litre fuel tank, it weighs 220 kg in running order.
The SRT 600 SX will arrive in the coming days at QJ Motor's Official Dealerships with a launch price of 5,999 euros, including the first year of free insurance, a complimentary luggage kit, and, as a hallmark of all models in the brand's range, a 6-year official warranty at no additional cost.
