Impressive Final Bombardment at the Second Mascletà of the Hogueras 2025

No event is more quintessentially Alicante than the thrill of hearing the first warning shots of the mascletà or the joyful smile when the belleas del foc, Adriana Vico and Valentina Tárraga kick off the spectacle with the familiar phrase: "Senyor pirotècnic, pot començar la mascletà".

The second mascletà of the Hogueras 2025, executed by Turis Pyrotechnics from Valencia, was one of those displays that reconnects with the traditional gunpowder celebrations of the Hogueras. At 2 PM, as usual, the pyrotechnician lit the fuse of this spectacle.

This display featured 104 kilos of gunpowder and lasted XX minutes. The maximum decibel level reached was XX. A testament to the power of this show that thrilled the Alicante locals who gathered at the square this Thursday.

The June 19th display was a classic affair, featuring five aerial sections that showcased the exceptional acoustics of Luceros Square. The aerials were followed by a digital segment demonstrating the pyrotechnician's skill.

In the central body of the mascletà, the pyrotechnician thrilled the square, making it vibrate to the rhythm of gunpowder with four earthquake sections. The finale was marked by a strong earthquake followed by a surprising bombardment that made the Alicante locals jump with excitement, defying the heat to enjoy this mascletà.
