Honda launched its Garage Dreams Contest five years ago, a customisation competition open to official Honda dealerships in Spain and Portugal. With a limited budget for parts and paint, each edition focuses on a different model from the Japanese brand's catalogue. This year, the spotlight was on the new GB350S.

After votes were cast by the 25 participating official Honda dealerships, Moto Center León emerged victorious in the fifth edition of the Garage Dreams Contest, chosen from five finalists (three selected by the online public and two by an expert jury).

The winning customisation was 'The Rocket Lion', a name that pays homage to the city of León, where the dealership is located. "We wanted to convey a message of affection and respect for the brand; every detail was meticulously crafted to reconcile the past and present of the brand, which we believe is the goal of the GB350S—a Neo Retro model that Honda has cherished. We drew inspiration from the RC181 ridden by the legendary Mike Hailwood," commented the representatives of Moto Center León.

The second place was claimed by the Clubman TT from Mallorca Motos. "Our project is named Clubman TT, in honour of the road racing movement of the 1970s, and of course, the world's most spectacular race, the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy. We want to convey that all motorcycles have a sporty side. In our project, we aimed to transform the GB 350 from a leisurely ride into a true circuit devourer," explained representatives from Mallorca.

In third place, there was a tie between the customisations from Motorsport Madrid, 'Miranda', and Servihonda Málaga, 'MBX 350'.

"We wanted to create a project focused on the often-overlooked female audience, as our dealership is the only one in Spain run by women. The name was inspired by little Miranda, a 7-year-old daughter of one of the dealership's managers," commented Motorsport.

Meanwhile, Servihonda explained about their 'MBX 350': "Our inspiration was an iconic model from the 1980s that marked the youth of many motorcyclists. We want everyone who lived through that era to reminisce about their youth and for young people to enjoy an updated iconic model."

As for the 'Impala 350' from Stilmoto in San Sebastián, it finished in fourth place. "It's a legendary Spanish motorcycle. We prioritised reviving a historic model. We hope that anyone who sees our bike thinks it looks like it came straight from the factory, appreciating all the work and details behind it," explained Stilmoto.
