The Hogueras Magazine by TodoAlicante Distributed for Free at Luceros

The Hogueras magazine by TodoAlicante is distributed for free from this Wednesday around the Luceros square. It will be before the mascletà when the publication hits the streets of the city, reaching the hands of locals and visitors.

This is the third magazine edited by the first digital newspaper of the Vocento Group in Alicante, which delves into the history and essence of the Hogueras de Alicante, through hogueras and barracas commissions, reports, and interviews with festival personalities.

This new printed publication by TodoAlicante offers all the details about the Hogueras de San Juan, the city's official festivities that will be celebrated until June 24, with continuity during the following nights with the fireworks competition at Postiguet beach.

The Hogueras magazine by TodoAlicante showcases the sentiment and identity of the festivities. To achieve this, it reviews all the official events -parades, mascletàs, bullfighting festivities, etc.- that take place during these days in the city.

The belleas del foc, Adriana Vico and Valentina Tárraga, along with their dames d'honor, feature on the cover of this third Hogueras magazine edited by TodoAlicante.

The copies also include a map of the city and the location of the hogueras and Special category barracas, as well as sketches and details of each commission.

Among more details, the official hogueras appear, as well as other pillars of the festival: artists through Adrián Alcaraz, music with the pasodobles of Miguel Ángel Mas Mataix, attire with Conchi Beneyto, the gastronomy of the 'Cuina i Fogueres' cycle by the Pica i Vola barraca, or the ephemeral art that endures on the skin.

The historical review of the Hogueras de Alicante comes with an almost century-old story: the plantà of the Orán bonfire in the middle of the Mar square between 1933 and 1936.

Additionally, as a highlight, TodoAlicante pays tribute to Josep Amand Tomàs, president of Fogueres Especials d'Alacant and Sèneca-Autobusos, on his 50th anniversary as a foguerer.
