High Performance for the "Made in Spain" Renault Rafale

The Rafale introduces a high-flying mechanism called E-Tech 4x4 300 HP, featuring an innovative plug-in hybrid E-Tech engine that achieves the said 300 HP thanks to the incorporation of an electric motor on the rear axle. Along with the advanced 4Control four-wheel steering system, Rafale now also boasts all-wheel drive for greater grip and optimal road adherence under any circumstances. The Atelier Alpine trim level goes even further in terms of driving pleasure, with sportier chassis settings and intelligent active suspension capable of constantly adapting damping to road obstacles.

The Rafale E-Tech 4x4 300 HP mechanics are based on the full hybrid E-Tech engine of 200 HP. Under the hood, the thermal engine features a new turbocharger that raises power to 150 HP and torque to 230 Nm. The intelligent gearbox has been optimized to adapt to this evolution. Three electric motors (two main and one secondary) are coupled with this internal combustion engine, providing a combined maximum power of 300 HP. The addition of a second main electric motor permanently connected to the rear axle provides 136 HP and 195 Nm of torque. The system is powered by a 22 kWh lithium-ion battery (400 V system) that provides up to 105 km of electric driving and up to 1,000 km of total range with a fully charged battery and its 55-liter fuel tank filled.

In addition to its high-performance engine, Rafale E-Tech 4x4 300 HP is presented in a new "Atelier Alpine" version. Besides specific design elements (satin summit blue body color, glossy black floating spoiler, 'Chicane' 21-inch wheels, blue floor carpet), this version incorporates all the expertise of Alpine Cars engineers to offer the 'Alpine experience' at the wheel of Renault Rafale.

Specifically, the chassis has been carefully tuned (shock absorbers, springs, suspension stops, and stabilizer bar) and the vehicle's behavior can be adjusted according to the driver's wishes by choosing between comfort, dynamic, and sport modes. Lastly, Rafale E-Tech 4x4 300 HP Atelier Alpine is enriched with innovative adaptive suspension with predictive camera for even greater onboard comfort.

With extensive standard equipment, Rafale E-Tech 4x4 300 HP is offered with two trim levels. The esprit Alpine version starts from 52,100 euros and can also be purchased through the multi-option Preference credit for 399 euros per month.
