A breath of fresh air sweeps through the Hercules youth academy. The club has announced the appointment of Luismi Ramírez as the new general coordinator of youth football and Edu Santos as the coordinator of the Football-8 school.

The presentation was held alongside the CEO of youth football, Gerson Morales, who highlighted "Hercules' commitment to nurturing young talent and creating a solid structure that integrates all levels of youth football."

"I take on this new challenge with great enthusiasm. The work from last season, with the promotions achieved and the growth of our lower categories, drives us to continue evolving. We aim to strengthen the club's foundations with a serious and ambitious project," stated Luismi Ramírez, who is already working on a unified methodology that will include three high-performance teams and a model covering everything from 11-a-side football to the youngest ages.

Meanwhile, Edu Santos joins as the head of the Football-8 School, a key piece in this new phase. His arrival marks the implementation of a new working methodology focused on building an inclusive and modern school. "We want a school that represents the entire province of Alicante, where all boys and girls have their space, their opportunity, and an appropriate environment to grow both in sports and personally," Santos emphasized.

Additionally, Hercules has announced Dani Palao as the new coach of Juvenil A, who will compete this season in the División de Honor, the top tier of national youth football. With this addition, the club strengthens its commitment to an ambitious project in the blue-and-white youth academy.

Palao approaches this new challenge with great enthusiasm and commitment, aiming to build a strong, competitive team with a Hercules identity. The new Juvenil A coach expressed being "very excited" about this new challenge, describing it as "a great responsibility."

During the 24-25 season, he was the assistant coach of Athletic Club Torrellano in the 3rd RFEF, and as a player, he gained experience with teams such as FC Barcelona youth, Elche Ilicitano, Cristo Atlético, FC Jove Español, Almoradí, Écija Balompié, Estudiantes de Murcia, La Roda CF, Atlético Benidorm, Santa Pola CF, and Callosa Deportiva.

"With his arrival, Hercules continues to consolidate its youth football structure, betting on young, prepared professionals with knowledge of youth football, to guide its promising talents towards high performance and the future of the first team," the club stated in its release.

Finally, the club announced this Friday the renewal of goalkeeper Carlos Abad until 2028. The agreement had been finalized several weeks ago, and now there is hope to also reach an agreement with winger Javi Moreno.
