Hercules is set to announce its first two winter transfer signings this Wednesday: forward Yanis Senadji and left-back Joel Arumí. The former arrives on loan from Betis after not getting opportunities at Tenerife, where he started only one match in the first half of the season. Yanis was crowned European Under-19 champion last summer with Spain, and coach Rubén Torrecilla sees him as a rough diamond after his impressive second half of the season with Betis' reserve team.

For the left-back position, Hercules has finally opted for Joel Arumí, who comes from Andorra, a Primera RFEF team. The first choice, and Torrecilla's preferred option, was the veteran Moi Delgado, but negotiations fell through, and it will be 24-year-old Arumí who will compete for the starting spot with Retu, meaning Abraham del Moral will shift to compete as a centre-back alongside Montoro, Sotillos, and Josema. Arumí stood out in Atlético's reserve team and previously played for Olot.

In terms of departures, the club has agreed to the exit of winger Rafael De Palmas to Alcoyano, joining Marcos Mendes to Sant Andreu and Rubén Cantero to Salamanca. Unless there is a surprise, midfielder Franck Angong and winger Richie Dapaah will also leave Rico Pérez, as Torrecilla does not count on them.

Apart from the market's hustle and bustle, Hercules is preparing for Sunday's clash against Yeclano (3:30 PM), and both Yanis and Arumí could have their first minutes. Torrecilla welcomes back winger Javi Moreno after serving his suspension, but loses pivot Artiles for the same reason. Additionally, Retu is available again after recovering from gastroenteritis, while Abraham Del Moral is ruled out after receiving nine stitches last Saturday in Marbella.
