Hercules Fails to Capitalize on Coscia's Goal and Suffers a Harsh Comeback in Fuenlabrada (2-1)

Hercules has not returned to competition on the right foot. After the break due to the Valencia tragedy, Torrecilla's team lost 2-1 to Fuenlabrada this Sunday in a match that seemed set with Coscia's goal at the start of the second half, but it got complicated and ended with another defeat against a Madrid team (4 out of 4).

Hercules has lost consistency and defensive firmness, leading to too many defeats in this part of the season. Besides the two goals, the Alicante team hit the post twice and had several shots that went very close to the goal defended, unsuccessfully today, by Carlos Abad.

The team played well in attack. In the first half, they had possession, and in the second, they had chances. Nico Espinosa once again showed how decisive he can be when he is able to face up. He went to the byline, lifted his head, and found Coscia. The Rosario's header was a real delight, a header in stride with tremendous power.

After Coscia's goal, Hercules had the chance to close the match with two strikes from outside the area by Mangada and Soldevila. However, they couldn't score, and Fuenlabrada reacted from the bench.

Nogales, the local coach, made a triple substitution that proved decisive. Fuenlabrada switched to playing with two forwards (Manu Garrido and Cedric), Ale Galindo provided good ball circulation in midfield, and Moroccan Bilal scored the equalizer.

With the 1-1, Hercules was unable to react. Torrecilla's changes did not contribute much. Fuenlabrada pressed for the second goal and found it with a clear penalty by Montoro on Antonio Moyano. Cedric did not miss and deceived Carlos Abad.

Hercules was unable to create a single chance in the last fifteen minutes, and Fuenlabrada did not suffer.
