Hercules will host Recreativo de Huelva this Saturday at 20:00 in a crucial match to rejoin the promotion race. However, the event is heavily influenced by weather conditions and injuries within Torrecilla's squad. Wind and rain are expected at Rico Pérez, and the match coincides with Carnival festivities, some of which may be affected by the weather.

Regarding injuries, Hercules arrives with two confirmed absences and several doubts. Defender Abraham del Moral and forward Yanis Senhadji are ruled out. Meanwhile, Nico Espinosa is feeling positive and aims to be on the bench if needed in the final stages of the match. The youth player is, by far, Hercules' most in-form attacker and has been resting for a week due to a minor muscle tear suffered against Fuenlabrada. The coaching staff will not take any risks with Nico due to his history of muscle injuries and his explosiveness, but the Alicante native insists on helping, and his inclusion in the squad seems certain.

On the other hand, left-back Retu will be a doubt until minutes before the match due to patellar tendon discomfort that already kept him out against Sevilla's reserve team. If the Madrid player does not make it in time, Joel Arumí, who joined in January from Andorra, will debut as a starter at Rico Pérez. Additionally, midfielder Mangada and attacking midfielder Aranda are also nursing injuries ahead of Saturday's match. The Alicante native could only play half an hour in Seville due to a muscle strain, while the latter has been playing with injections for a bone edema for several weeks. Aranda has trained with better sensations this week and could even start.

Torrecilla expressed his delight on Friday at being able to count on Roger Colomina again, a key player in the midfield, and was confident that Oriol Soldevila will soon regain his first-half form: "I'm sure we'll see his best version. We must remember he was out for three months, which is a long time. Now he's building up load and minutes, he's lacking sharpness, but that will come. He will give us a lot because he's a dedicated player who lives for Hercules," the white-and-blue coach emphasized.
