Hercules CF Discovers Opponents in 2025/26 Primera RFEF

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) officially announced on Friday, June 27, the composition of the two groups for the Primera Federation 2025/26 season following a vote among the participating clubs.

Hercules CF has been placed in Group 2, East-South. Their opponents will include teams from Murcia, Andalusia, Aragon, and Catalonia, as well as Ibiza, Alcorcón, and Atlético Madrid's reserve team. One of the top teams in the category, Tenerife, will join Group 1.

The official match schedule will be presented on July 1 in San Juan de la Nava (Ávila). The blue and whites face a challenging group for their return to the Hypermotion League, the club's main objective, as confirmed by coach Rubén Torrecilla following his contract renewal.

Regarding the selection process, the RFEF sent a series of proposals to the regional federations, which were later returned with various observations. From there, the Presidents' Committee, meeting on Thursday, June 26, in the City of Football in Las Rozas, reached a consensus to offer the clubs two equitable options.
