Hercules Announces First Defensive Signing: Adrián 'Bolo'

The 23-year-old right-footed centre-back is the fourth signing of the season following Unai Ropero, Slavy, and Ben Hamed

Rubén Torrecilla has secured the first reinforcement for the defence, a line that has raised many questions this season. Adrián 'Bolo', a 23-year-old centre-back from Madrid standing at 1.91 metres, joins Hercules, following in the footsteps of his father, now a coach, who played for the team in the 97/98 season.

The right-footed centre-back arrives on a free transfer after his contract with Zamora ended, where he played 31 matches in Group 1 of the Primera RFEF last season. He is the fourth confirmed signing following forward Unai Ropero (on loan), centre-forward Slavy, and midfielder Ben Hamed.

The other defender with whom technical secretary Paco Peña has reached an agreement to strengthen the defence in order to build a competitive team is Nacho Monsalve. The 1.88-metre player has ended his contract with Eldense and has committed to the Rico Pérez club. With the official arrival of 'Bolo' and the likely addition of Nacho Monsalve, Hercules' defence gains height following Josema's departure.
