'Tu-tuump'. This is the motto of the bonfire that Port d'Alacant will set up by the sea in Alicante this June. The district remains in the Special category with artists Salva Banyuls and Néstor Ruiz, who are working on a bonfire with its own heartbeat.
This element will form the base of the bonfire's pinnacle in Port d'Alacant 2025. Two bonfire builders, seated among flames, hold a heart, the planet's heart that beats in every corner, bearing the weight of time.

A clock indicates it's midnight on the nit de Sant Joan. Instead of stopping, the heart keeps beating while the various scenes and pinnacles of this bonfire recreate what happens across all continents "every second in the heartbeat of the world".

In this bonfire, Banyuls and Ruiz bring to life a symbolic and poetic vision of the most magical night of the year, especially for the people of Alicante: one where millions of hearts beat in unison in different corners of the planet.
The bonfire is structured around a large central heart, a metaphor for the universal pulse, from which scenes expand representing key moments and activities occurring simultaneously in different parts of the world during this night of San Juan.
All of them depict how humanity shares common emotions despite cultural or geographical differences. To achieve this, the artists have opted for an immersive and contemporary aesthetic, with a careful use of colour, movement, and light.
