No Real Sociedad fans were seen wearing their team's shirt on the streets of Rome on Thursday morning. Many of the approximately one thousand 'txuri-urdin' supporters who travelled to the Italian capital to watch the Europa League match against Lazio tonight tried to keep a low profile due to the shock caused by the news of the brawl between ultras of both teams the previous night. Nine people were injured in the incidents, including a Real Sociedad fan who is in serious condition in hospital after being stabbed multiple times in the back.

"We were worried about what might happen, so we didn't wear the shirt," said Alfonso near Piazza Navona. Like many other fans from San Sebastián, he took the opportunity to visit some of the usual tourist attractions in the Italian capital. "We are very concerned about this kind of atmosphere. We came to enjoy a match, and it's a shame that it's spoiled by these incidents," said Marian, his wife, who expressed concern for the injured fans and lamented that "a few" tarnish the reputation of an entire fanbase.

"It's very frustrating because it's a great opportunity to get to know Rome and stroll through its streets. It's very pleasant here." Despite concerns about the violence, both were willing to don the 'txuri-urdin' shirt later to head to Piazza del Popolo, where Real Sociedad fans will gather before being taken by bus to the Stadio Olimpico, where the match will take place at 9:00 PM.

Unai, a fan from Zarautz, dared to wear the Real Sociedad shirt, although it was half-covered by a jacket. "We don't want to get into any trouble, and we hope nothing else happens after last night. If you don't look for these things, you usually don't find them. In the end, it's radical groups from here and there that come together, and these things happen among them," he commented outside the Sant'Agnese in Agone church, located in Piazza Navona. "Before the match, we wanted to see the most important monuments in Rome, and so far, no one has bothered us or said anything about wearing the Real Sociedad shirt. I think normal fans don't face any issues. This is a matter for the ultras."

Other Real Sociedad supporters, like Blanca, spent the morning visiting the Vatican with her mother. Dressed in the 'txuri-urdin' shirt, this young woman claimed to be "not very worried" about further altercations. "It's always the same people fighting. We heard about what happened last night on the news. We're not afraid, although anything can happen. We came with the family to support Real Sociedad, and we want there to be a good atmosphere," Blanca said in St. Peter's Square.
