The Harrowing Account of Eugenia Santana: "He Pulled Down My Dress and Did Whatever He Wanted with Me"

Eugenia Santana appeared on the set of '¡De viernes!' to recount one of the most terrifying episodes of her life. Miss Spain 1992 broke down as she narrated the sexual assault she suffered last summer under chemical submission. "He pulled down my dress and did whatever he wanted with me," she recounted through tears, her voice trembling.

The incident occurred on August 16, 2024, in Las Palmas. The former model was at a bingo hall and, upon stepping out for a cigarette, two men who "seemed polite" approached her with what appeared to be romantic intentions. She received a message from her son and decided to head home. The men offered her a ride, and she accepted. It was then that her nightmare began.

Upon arriving home, a grateful Eugenia invited them in, and while one entertained her son, according to her testimony, the other drugged and assaulted her. "I remember fighting back. I have a report with many bruises. I felt very sore," she explained. Besides the physical pain of the assault, overwhelming feelings of guilt consumed the former model. "I had to be admitted to psychiatry for six days because I wasn't myself," she recalled. She also had to undergo various tests to rule out disease transmission or the possibility of pregnancy.

Eugenia had the unwavering support of her family, who also encouraged her to report the incident. But the fear hasn't left, especially after encountering her alleged attackers again in a shopping center the day before confirming the report. "I relived it all," she confessed.

A chilling testimony she decided to make public after learning about Paloma Lago's case. "I feel very identified because I'm not the only woman this happens to. I encourage such cases to be reported."
