Fan Futura Fest is celebrating its fifth edition this summer, offering the chance to enjoy performances from around fifty leading artists in genres such as electronic, new pop, and urban music. The event will be held on July 25 and 26 at El Gonio Park in Los Alcázares, in the Region of Murcia.
Organised by Animal Sound Group, the festival has unveiled its full lineup of artists. Joining headliners Bad Gyal and Khea is Tiago Pzk. They will be joined by other anticipated acts such as Samuraï, Karavana, Dillom, Disobey, Selecta, Johnny Garso, Sexy Zebras, and Anabel Lee. The festival's unique musical offering is further enriched by Judeline, Kaze, Pole., Cupido, Walls, Cariño, Hens, Luna Ki, Dollar Selmouni, Trashi, Ganges, Kabasaki, LVL 1, Malva, Don Fluor, Barder, Julia Cry, and Nico.
DJ sessions will take centre stage at the Loop Stage 360º, featuring Brava, Virtual Diva, Merca Bae, Dirtilarita, YX3, Drizzyclare, Yosef, Diego Armando, Madbel, Paul Martin B2B Dlpin, Pichi, Jota Maro, and Sami.
This will all take place at El Gonio Park in Los Alcázares, a new venue with over 25,000 square metres and three stages, bringing music to more than 30,000 people, just 100 metres from the Mar Menor. The venue includes a camping area with trees and gardens, welcoming visitors from around the world for a complete experience.
"In a national landscape showcasing the potential of festivals, Fan Futura Fest aims to provide a unique place where Generation Z feels represented and experiences a unique fusion of music, nature, and sport," says its creator Álvaro Vargas, one of the country's youngest promoters, who reflects the spirit of his generation in this event.
Fan Futura Fest stands out in the national festival scene for its commitment to sustainability, earning recognition through the Eventsost certificate as the first sustainable festival in the Region of Murcia and one of the first in Spain; a certification it has successfully renewed in all its editions.
This distinction covers both the event's production and its parallel content and activities. Its 'positive legacy' is evident in actions such as the tree planting carried out last week in Los Alcázares to offset the carbon footprint of its last edition, thanks to the involvement of secondary education centres in the Region of Murcia.
Additionally, during the festival, parallel activities such as workshops, talks, and actions are conducted by researchers from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena and the University of Murcia (UMU) on sustainability, including mobile phone recycling, marine species presentations, talks on the Mar Menor and the marine environment, sustainable laboratories, natural cosmetics, or 3D printing recycling. It includes projects for the recovery of flora and fauna of this Salty Lagoon, carried out by the UMU aquarium.
The fourth edition of Fan Futura Fest demonstrated the consolidation of this event with over 40,000 attendees who enjoyed music from Bizarrap, María Becerra, Belén Aguilera, and Natalia Lacunza, among other artists. The economic impact of the event was recorded at 4 million euros.
This is complemented by a million euros in media impact in advertising value thanks to news related to the Festival. These figures serve as a foundation for continued growth and demonstrate that the future of festivals is being shaped from the Region of Murcia.
