New Guinness World Record for Longest Electric Motorcycle Journey on a Single Charge

How many kilometres can an electric motorcycle travel on a single charge? As of today (tomorrow remains to be seen), the figure has been set at 311 km, after the electric motorcycle company Verge Motorcycles broke the Guinness World Record, measured and certified by Webfleet, Bridgestone's fleet management solution.

On board a Verge TS Pro, on March 22 in London, influencers Sam Clarke and Sara Sloman, along with a team of electric vehicle specialists, achieved the feat that lasted over 16 hours and took place through suburban areas within London's M25 ring road, passing through various city districts, with typical big city traffic conditions.

The motorcycle's journey was tracked with a precise tracking system, and its battery was not charged at any point during the trip. Webfleet, Bridgestone Group's fleet management solution, collected the data to certify the record, and the project was captured by Generate Media. The AA (Automobile Association) was also present to ensure the motorcycle was operational throughout the journey.

The marketing director of Verge Motorcycles, Lauri Laukkanen, said: "This world record is an incredibly proud moment for the entire Verge team.
