Good News for Erasmus Students in Alicante

Good news for university students from Alicante who will participate in the Erasmus program for the 2024/25 academic year. The Department of Education, Culture, Universities, and Employment has increased the financial aid for this international mobility program to 750,000 euros. This amount is 10,000 euros more than last year.

The grants, which will be awarded for a maximum period of five months, represent, according to the Regional Secretary of Universities, Esther Gómez, "a significant support" for students who have been selected by their respective universities to undertake a stay abroad during the 2024-2025 academic year.

Applications must be submitted online by universities and higher artistic education centers affiliated with ISEACV in their capacity as managing entities of Erasmus+ scholarships. The application period is already open and will extend until October 7, 2024.

Gómez emphasized that the increase in aid comes to "reinforce the regional government's commitment to the internationalization of higher education and the improvement of academic opportunities for students in the Valencian Community."
