Gibeller is searching for a new image for 2025. The company has announced a competition to select the design that will adorn the traditional tile to be distributed during the Pilgrimage on May 1st.

On this date, thousands of residents from Alicante will take to the streets of the city centre and other neighbourhoods, heading towards the Caserío, where the Relic is located. At the end of the pilgrimage, many will visit Gibeller's vicinity to receive this free gift.

After celebrating its centenary, Gibeller resumes the competition that will bring together various artists, designers, and painters to shape this emblem of the Santa Faz, the traditional tile that is already part of many Alicante homes.

The deadline for submitting proposals is open until 8 PM on February 27th. All interested individuals can participate, provided they meet the different requirements published in the competition's selection rules.

Among the requirements, the image of the Relic must appear in the tile design, which will measure 20 by 20 centimetres. Additionally, it will include two inscriptions: 'Gibeller' and 'Santa Faz 2025'. Designs must be in black and white, and only one proposal per participant is allowed, submitted without a signature.

Gibeller explains that the winning artist of this new edition will join a prestigious list of artists who have contributed to designing their tile. Among them are Manuel Ricarte, Francisco Parra, Feli Franch Sánchez, Francisco Climent, Juan Soler, Ángel B. López Luján, and Alejandro Torres, among others.

The jury selecting the design for the new Santa Faz tile in Alicante will include the Councillor for Culture, Nayma Beldjilali; the parish priest of the Caserío, Miguel Ángel Cremades; the President of the College of Architects, Emilio Vicedo; the delegate of the College of Interior Designers of Alicante, Tono Lledó; and the Culture Technician of the City Council, Montserrat Cayuelas, along with Gibeller's Communication Manager, Mayte Torregrosa.
