Ximo Puig spoke on Monday in Alicante about the decision of the Valencia Court of Instruction 4 to prosecute his brother, Francis Puig, and Juan Enrique Adell Bover, administrators of Comunicacions dels Ports SA and Canal Maestrat SL.

In this case, investigations are being conducted into subsidies from the Generalitat for promoting Valencian in media received by both companies and Mas Mut Produccions SL between 2015 and 2018.

The former head of the Consell expressed on Monday, during a visit to Casa Mediterráneo as Spain's ambassador to the OECD, his "respect" for justice and stated that "the Generalitat acted correctly at all times, which is the political responsibility."

Puig also commented on the latest movements of the PSPV, whose goal is to "create a strong alternative" to the populist right. Both he and Perelló have defended the party's primaries to elect their general secretaries in the provinces, where the stir has been evident in Valencia with two candidacies.

The director general of Casa Mediterráneo has praised Alicante's "magnificent process" in elevating the unique proposal of Rubén Alfaro, while in Valencia, the vote is awaited. Regarding the current political situation in the Community, Perelló noted that "it is like the Duchess of Alba's estate, improvable."
