The General Sale of Alicante's Commerce Vouchers Begins: These Are the Key Times to Get Them

And the day has come. Alicante's commerce voucher opens the website for its sale to the general public. After three days of in-person acquisition, aimed at those over 65 years old, the rest of the registered citizens and adults can get up to 400 euros in vouchers.

The amount of the general commerce voucher amounts to 2,548,242 euros, with the amount subsidized by the Alicante City Council being 1,274,121 euros. This amount will be distributed on September 26, 27, and 30, 2024; October 1 and 2. The vouchers can be spent until October 27 in establishments participating in the campaign.

The vouchers will go on sale this Thursday on their website www.bonocomercioalicante.es, starting at 8:30 AM, when the first acquisition packages will open. Once they are sold out, a new batch will start at 4 PM until the daily budget is exhausted. These times will be maintained in the following days to acquire Alicante's commerce voucher.

In this sixth edition of the commerce voucher, the maximum annual amount set is 400 euros in vouchers per person, of which 200 euros come from the subsidy and the remaining 200 will be contributed by the citizen at the time of purchase.

Within the maximum established amount of 400 euros per person, considering the conditions, each consumer can choose which vouchers to acquire up to their limit: vouchers of 20 euros, for which they will pay 10 euros; vouchers of 50 euros, for which they will pay 25 euros; vouchers of 100 euros, for which they will pay 50 euros; and vouchers of 200 euros, for which they will pay 100 euros.

However, as it is a public aid, the beneficiary or consumer will be required to declare it as a capital gain in their IRPF declaration for 2024. Additionally, among other considerations, the amount of unused vouchers within the program's validity period will not be refunded, nor will the difference between the purchase price and the voucher value.

Each user must register on the website to buy Alicante's commerce vouchers. They must enter their personal data such as name, surname, date of birth, address and DNI, create a password and accept the campaign conditions, as well as declare that they are up to date with their tax obligations with Hacienda and Social Security.
