The Garrigós Wells Host 'Water Experience' by Benjamín Sun This Sunday

The Alicante Water Museum kicks off June by commemorating World Environment Day. This year, 2025, Sunday, June 1st, has been chosen for a celebration made possible by the organization of the Juan Gil-Albert Alicante Institute of Culture; the Garrigós Wells will host 'Water Experience' by artist Benjamín Sun, a cultural proposal open to all audiences until the cisterns' capacity is reached.

'Water Experience' is a music-visual performance where, over more than an hour, artist and producer Benjamín Sun (piano and voice), accompanied by fellow producer Lluís Mas, convey to the audience sensations and sound aesthetics inspired by various sound and landscape universes, all with water as the common inspiring element.

Cristina Martínez, director of the Juan Gil-Albert Alicante Institute of Culture, stated, "For this institution, it is essential to spread culture in various spaces of the province, and the Garrigós Wells are undoubtedly one of the natural settings we have to enhance a show of these characteristics."

Martín Sanz, Director of Communication and External Relations at Aguas de Alicante, expressed that "the Alicante Water Museum works, thanks to alliances and collaboration with different organizations and institutions, to offer a varied cultural and environmental offer accessible to all citizens of Alicante and its visitors." On this occasion, thanks to the Juan Gil-Albert Alicante Institute of Culture as an entity that organizes all kinds of manifestations related to the field of culture and legal and social sciences, it is possible to carry out this commemorative activity for World Environment Day, a significant date for this museum, also from a cultural perspective.
