Fugitive Who Tampered with ATMs to Steal Money Found in Elche

The National Police have located in Elche a fugitive sentenced to ten years in prison. The 27-year-old Romanian national was sought by Italian authorities for allegedly committing several crimes related to cybercrime.

The man, who was subject to a European Arrest Warrant, had been attempting to evade Italian justice for several months. He allegedly committed the acts between mid and late 2023, concealing his whereabouts until he was discovered in Spain.
