Kim Kardashian is celebrating one milestone after another. She recently enjoyed her son Psalm's sixth birthday with a Marvel-themed party, as is her usual style. However, this is not the only reason for joy for the businesswoman in recent weeks, as she has recently graduated in Law. It was precisely six years ago that the influencer decided to follow in her father Robert Kardashian's footsteps and pursue a career in law, as she shared on her social media: "Six years ago, I embarked on an unconventional path to pursue my dream of becoming a lawyer. It wasn't easy and took longer than planned, but I never gave up."

Kardashian's journey has been anything but conventional. Instead of attending law school, she chose to follow the apprenticeship route under the supervision of a legal firm, an option allowed by the Californian system. After several failed attempts, in 2021 she announced that she had passed the baby bar, an exam that qualifies her to continue her practical studies. Thus, in 2025, she has finally achieved her academic qualification, although she will still have to pass one more exam, the California Bar Exam, if she wishes to practice as a lawyer in the state, as she has expressed on multiple occasions.

In this regard, her stated goal is to dedicate herself to prison reform and the defense of wrongly convicted individuals, causes to which she has already devoted efforts in recent years. In this new professional stage, she carries the legacy of her father, the late Robert Kardashian, who was a prominent figure in American law in the 1990s. He became globally known for being part of the defense team for O. J. Simpson in the high-profile murder trial of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman. His constant media presence and personal friendship with Simpson made him one of the most recognizable faces of the process.

Years later, his daughter Kim has followed in his footsteps, getting involved in the Menendez brothers' case, championing a campaign for the review of the trial, and writing an essay published by NBC News in which she argued that they are "kind, intelligent, and honest men," whose sentence seemed more fitting "for a serial killer than for two individuals who endured years of sexual abuse by the very people they loved and trusted."

More than three decades later, the Menendez brothers have succeeded in having a Los Angeles judge resentence their case last Tuesday, May 13, opening the door to a real possibility of parole for both, as Californian law allows this freedom for those convicted of murders committed when they were under 26 years old, as is their case.

Excited about her academic achievement, the influencer celebrated her graduation party privately in her garden, surrounded by family and receiving gifts. Her children, her mother Kris Jenner, her sister Khloé Kardashian, and several friends were present. A frivolous touch is essential in this more serious facet of the businesswoman, who has been a committed activist against wrongful convictions for years.
