Four-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling into Pool in Mijas

A four-year-old boy tragically died on the morning of Tuesday, June 24th, after falling into a pool in Mijas, as reported by the Emergency Service 112.

The incident took place at a house in the La Alquería urbanisation at 9:15 am, when a witness alerted the coordination centre about a child who had fallen into a pool and had already been pulled out of the water, according to 112 sources.

Guardia Civil, Local Police, and the 061 Health Emergency Centre personnel arrived at the scene and confirmed to Sur the child's death after unsuccessful attempts to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at the location.
