Hércules' lack of goals is evident, especially in the position where scoring is crucial: the centre-forward. The team's main strikers, Dani Romera and Agus Coscia, have only scored 21% of the team's goals. They have only managed to score 9 out of the 41 goals by Hércules, who face the last six matches with little room for error if they want to reach the playoffs, which are five points away after a goalless draw against Mérida at Rico Pérez.

Dani Romera, one of the star signings last summer and a personal choice of Torrecilla, with whom he worked at Castellón, is having a disappointing season. Injuries and poor fitness during pre-season have hindered his performance. His impact on matches is minimal, he's starting to receive boos, and has only scored four goals against Alcoyano, Sanluqueño, Betis, and Ibiza. Moreover, last Sunday he requested a substitution at Rico Pérez due to unspecified discomfort, which initially doesn't seem serious.

Agus Coscia, on the other hand, has scored one more goal than his teammate and continues to fight for minutes each match with aggression and determination. In the last game against Mérida, he outperformed Romera in the final minutes and had a clear chance with a header that narrowly missed. Coscia, the hero of last season's promotion with his header against Lleida, hopes to be a key player in this final stretch of the league and wants more playtime to prove himself.

Marcos Mendes and Yanis Senhadji no longer have the opportunity to do so with Hércules. The former left in January to Sant Andreu in pursuit of his third consecutive promotion to Primera RFEF, and the latter, who arrived in Alicante during the winter transfer window, was injured shortly after debuting against Yeclano.

Of the 41 goals scored by Hércules, 20 come from their offensive trio: Oriol Soldevila (9), Javi Moreno (6), and Nico Espinosa (5). Additionally, Alvarito and Aranda scored three times, joined by Artiles (2), Sotillos (1), Montoro (1), and Colomina (1).

Furthermore, Hércules will open the doors of Rico Pérez this Maundy Thursday for children to support the players ahead of Saturday's match against Betis' reserve team. The training session will begin at 10:30 am, and entry is through gate 4.
