Forest Fire Declared at Castell d'Ambra, Pego

Emergency services of 112CV issued a warning this Tuesday, 29th April, at 16:21 hours regarding a fire in the forest area of Castell d'Ambra, in the municipality of Pego. The Generalitat has activated an emergency response team with ground resources to intervene and control the flames.

Currently, a unit from the Oliva Fire Station, a forest coordinator from the Alicante Provincial Council, as well as two fire engines and two units of the forest firefighters group from the Generalitat Valenciana have been mobilised. Additionally, an environmental agent and officers from the Pego Local Police are working in the area to coordinate safety and prevention efforts.
