Foment del Treball Supports Ángela de Miguel for Cepyme Presidency

Foment del Treball has announced its support for Ángela de Miguel's candidacy for Cepyme and stated it will also work towards achieving a single candidacy for the employers' association, according to a statement released this Monday.

The Catalan employers' association advocates for a single candidacy "to realise the unity of action desired by Catalan and Spanish businesses."

Thus, it has called for taking advantage of "the democratic exercise of transparency that an electoral campaign represents to maintain calm debate and build bridges" to achieve this goal.

De Miguel, president of CEOE-Cepyme Valladolid and the candidate supported by employers' leader Antonio Garamendi, will compete against current Cepyme president Gerardo Cuerva in the elections for the SME employers' association scheduled for 20 May.
