The storm 'Caetano' has hit the region with strong winds, prompting orange warnings for Thursday. According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), winds will be particularly strong on 21st November in the interior of Alicante, especially in high mountain areas. Gusts are expected to exceed 70 km/h, potentially reaching up to 90 km/h. The Aemet alert will remain active until noon on Friday. Read the full story.

They seemed like an ordinary couple. Living quietly in El Campello, they ran Abadix Fruits SL, a company supposedly importing bananas, avocados, pineapples, mangoes, yuccas, and plantains from Ecuador, Panama, and Brazil. However, according to police investigations, they were infallible drug traffickers involved in large-scale drug smuggling, responsible for the largest cocaine seizure in Spain's history and the second largest in Europe, amounting to 13 tonnes, with an estimated market value of nearly 800 million euros.
