Although summer is coming to an end, there’s still time to discover some of the most charming places in our geography. So, grab your camper and take note of the route through some of the most photogenic sites and landscapes in Spain. Or better yet, places whose beauty you’ll want to capture and that will undoubtedly be perfect for completing your holiday photo album.

First on the list is the best bench in the world, located at Mirador de O Coitelo (La Coruña), an ideal seat to sit and contemplate the Loiba cliffs. This spectacular natural setting, formed by steep walls ranging from 80 meters to 160 meters in height, falls abruptly into the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and stretches from Punta da Bandexa to Esteiro beach in the municipality of Mañón.

When King Alfonso XII gazed out from El Balcón de Europa in Nerja (Málaga), he was so amazed by the views that he knew immediately what it should be named. Yescapalo recommends this as a must-visit for anyone traveling to Nerja, a charming town in Málaga filled with delightful white alleyways and famous for its caves with valuable cave paintings. The Balcón de Europa is situated in an idyllic spot over the sea, making it a perfect place to rest while contemplating the infinite marine landscape or capturing an impressive sunrise with your camera.

The Monastery of Tentudía is a church-fortress located in Calera de León, in the province of Badajoz. This emblematic site, where the remains of the masters of the Order of Santiago rest, is situated on the highest peak of the province at the junction of Extremadura and Huelva. From there, one can not only see a vast expanse of land filled with mountain landscapes and olive trees but also witness the division of the Guadiana and Guadalquivir river basins. In addition to its spectacular views, the Monastery of Tentudía is declared a Historical Artistic Monument of National Artistic Treasure for being the best-preserved representative of Mudejar architecture.

For lovers of unique landscapes, one of the most beautiful, distinct, and lesser-known places in the province of Huesca is the Chinese Wall of Finestras. Unlike its man-made counterpart in Asia, Finestras' wall is a natural creation. It is a large natural wall formed by tall parallel limestone rocks that separate the mountain from Canelles Reservoir, making it a perfect spot for your best photographs.

Lastly, declared a World Heritage Site, Garajonay National Park is located in the center of La Gomera island and is one of the most beautiful landscapes found in the Canary Islands. Formed by a laurel forest covering about 4,000 hectares that occupy more than 10% of the island, Garajonay is an idyllic enclave for taking one of the most unique photos of the summer.

This park, named after Alto de Garajonay which is the highest point on the island at 1487 meters, offers several routes and viewpoints within the park.
