About thirty associations and collectives from Alicante participated this Saturday in the demonstration called by the Sindicat de Barri de Carolines and the Mortgage Affected Platforms (PAH) in response to "the growing difficulty of accessing decent housing in Alicante." A new generation has taken the helm of the PSPV both in the Valencian Community, with Diana Morant, and from this Saturday in the province of Alicante, in the figure of Rubén Alfaro. This was the first point highlighted by the Minister of Science and Innovation at the closing of the socialist congress in the province of Alicante, held in Alcoi. A criminal organisation of home burglaries took advantage of the influx of thousands of tourists arriving in Alicante during holiday weekends to commit their crimes and return home with the loot.
