Two arrested in Alicante in a major police operation against child pornography
The National Police have completed a complex major operation against child pornography, resulting in 61 arrests in Spain, two of them in Alicante, and 17 people investigated for possession, production, and distribution of child pornography material. Alicante breaks its record for waste collection during the Hogueras
Alicante has set a new record for waste collection during the main week of the Hogueras festival. According to the City Council this Friday, the capital's cleaning service removed 3,657 tonnes of waste between June 18 and 25, compared to 3,204 recorded in 2024.
