From Elda to International Fraud: The Paterna Brothers Face Trial as Alleged Leaders of the Generación Zoe Scam
Two brothers from Elda, Daniel and Camilo Patera, were arrested by the National Police in March 2022 for being the frontmen in Spain of the alleged international pyramid scheme Generación Zoe. Now, Judge José Luis Calama of the National Court has proposed to try the Alicante natives and 16 other defendants for collecting four million euros in investments from over a hundred victims between 2010 and 2011 through the investigated company, founded in Argentina. Urban Planning Reverses Decision and Revokes License Denial for Deposits to Review Promoter's Claims
Just hours after the announcement of the denial of a major work license to the company XC Business 90 for the installation of large deposits in the port of Alicante, the council had to backtrack. The Urban Planning Department has revoked the license denial decree to review documentation submitted by the company on the last day of the deadline, which Urban Planning became aware of this Tuesday.
