Controversy over the elimination of a Benidorm Magistrate's Court to transform it into a Gender Violence Court. The proposal has generated absolute rejection from judges, legal professionals, the Public Prosecutor's Office, and also from lawyers and solicitors, who believe that this change would cause a "serious collapse" in the processing of cases, as the new sections responsible for handling cases of violence against women will also have to investigate all sexual offences.
