The sun returns to the Postiguet beach this Tuesday, and Alicante regains normalcy after a nightmare day following the massive blackout that affected all of Spain on Monday. Electricity was restored to all parts of the city past midnight, although it was recovered by neighbourhoods. An electric car belonging to the Calp Town Hall caught fire on the afternoon of this Tuesday, April 29, while parked on Ifach Avenue. The vehicle, part of the municipal fleet, began to emit smoke around 7 PM, and the Local Police had to evacuate a building and the Town Hall's cleaning staff, according to TodoAlicante.
