The municipal council approved the new Cleaning Ordinance this Thursday, which increases fines and their amounts. The regulation aims to be a tool to curb uncivil behaviours that dirty the city and includes fines of up to 3,000 euros. The Civil Guard has arrested a suspected Russian mobster hiding in Torrevieja. The fugitive was wanted for an international criminal conspiracy of a mafia nature and was sentenced in March 2022 to 11 years in prison by the Verona Court, according to sources from the Benemérita.
