It seemed that tensions had eased following the Consell's announcement to convert all public hospitals into university hospitals, thereby facilitating the sharing of medical practices between UA and UMH. However, calm has been disrupted by a new announcement: the institution in Elche is appealing the TSJ ruling that supports studies at the San Vicente campus. Click here to view for free.

The Alicante Provincial Council will retake the controversial exam to fill 58 General Administration Assistant positions after the Technical Evaluation Committee identified "a formatting error in the text when preparing the multiple-choice questionnaire," according to the conclusion reached by this body, which met urgently this Tuesday. The prison workers' union, Your Abandonment Can Kill Me (Tampm), has warned of a "persistent rat infestation that has been affecting Fontcalent prison in Alicante for over a year." Additionally, they have lamented the "inaction of the prison authorities" regarding this issue. Here is the full story.

The 'hippies' of Alicante's Explanada will finally dismantle their stalls in the coming days and relocate to the space requested from the Port Authority next to the Lonja. However, only fifteen stalls will move to the new space, which is still being processed with the Port. The rest will cease their activities permanently and have not accepted the move to the new location. Click to read the full story.

The new noise restrictions in Alicante will be paused during the main days of the Bonfires and other festivals. The City Council will apply a "specific regulation" to lift and modify the ZAS (acoustically saturated zone) during the week of 20th to 24th June. Alicante's Deputy Mayor, Manuel Villar, explained this Tuesday, in response to TodoAlicante's questions, that the installation of racós in various parts of the city centre will continue as before, with music until the early hours. Like the rest of the country, the approximately 330 veterinary clinics in the province were called to strike against a new regulatory framework that has come into force in our country, threatening to inundate the sector with bureaucracy and subject it to "restrictive" regulation, which has been struggling for years.
