Javi Moreno's departure marks the first significant setback for Hércules in their 25-26 campaign, confirmed this Friday. The club had anticipated this for weeks, and now it is official that the talented winger from Almería has signed with another team, specifically Pyunik of Armenia, as reported by Cope Alicante.

Javi Moreno will participate in the Conference League qualifiers and has committed to his new club until 2027. Hércules offered him the highest salary in the squad alongside Oriol Soldevila, but the renewal offer was overshadowed by the Armenian deal. The player, who turns 28 today, has decided to pack his bags.

Javi Moreno leaves Hércules after a season and a half of impressive performances, particularly at Rico Pérez. The Almerian winger joined in January last year from Atlético Baleares and was instrumental in securing promotion, including two assists in the memorable match against Lleida with a packed Rico Pérez. However, it was in the Primera RFEF where Javi Moreno caught the attention of numerous scouts, not so much for his five goals, but for his numerous assists and the constant threat he posed playing on the right with his left foot.

Hércules resigns to his departure to a club with much higher salaries than those in Primera RFEF. The focus now shifts to finding equally impactful players in the attacking midfield line. The continuity of Nico Espinosa and Oriol Soldevila seems assured, while Antonio Aranda's future will depend on market alternatives and the player's desires, whose second half of the season was quite disappointing.

So far, only the signing of midfielder Ben Hamed, arriving from Amorebieta, has been disclosed. Negotiations are progressing with centre-backs Adrián Bolo (Zamora) and Nacho González (Intercity). Meanwhile, Hércules continues to pursue Betis for the loan of Yanis and is also negotiating with Eibar to secure the loan of forward Slavy, who was initially set to join Hércules in January but eventually moved to Villarreal's reserve team.
