The Fireworks Competition of Hogueras Begins: Schedule and Where to Watch

After the cremà of the Hogueras de Alicante 2025, the fireworks continue in the city with the fireworks competition along the city's coastline. Five pyrotechnic companies participate in the contest, from June 25 to 29.

At midnight on these days, the city will dazzle with these fireworks displays, which will be launched over the sea of Alicante.

In this new edition of the fireworks competition, there have been changes. The main one is the location of the launches, which moves from Cocó beach, at the end of Postiguet, to the overhanging walkway of Muelle 12.

The works on the Postiguet breakwater forced the Alicante City Council to change the location of the competition 'in extremis'. Therefore, the search for alternatives led to moving the displays to the city's port.

On June 25, they will be launched from the overhanging walkway of Muelle 12, with views from the Postiguet beach, the Santa Bárbara castle, the port itself, and other areas of the city, such as Albufereta and Almadraba.

However, the City Council has already announced that the fireworks competition will return to Postiguet during the next festive season, the Hogueras 2026.
