Firefighters Work in Aspe to Extinguish a Fire Started in a Reed Bed

Firefighters are working this Tuesday to extinguish a fire in the town of Aspe. The flames started in a reed bed near the riverbed, at kilometer 4 of the CV-847 road, according to the Provincial Fire Consortium of Alicante.

According to these sources, the fire alert was received at 16:06, and no accidents have been reported during its development. The firefighting operation involves eight units from the Elche and Elda stations and the itinerant teams from San Vicente and Elda; plus three aerial means A-2, A-55, and HA-0, with the helitransported brigade and two units of forest firefighters.
