Firefighters extinguish rubbish and brush fire in Florida Industrial Estate

Slight panic at the Florida Industrial Estate in Alicante. Firefighters from Speis were called to Borja Street to extinguish a fire involving brush and rubbish near a local container.

The flames erupted around 2:20 PM this Friday, according to witnesses who observed the fire. Following the alert, fire brigades and the Alicante Local Police were dispatched to the scene.

This brush and rubbish fire did not cause any personal or material damage. Speis firefighters managed to extinguish the flames by 2:45 PM, also securing the nearby container from the blaze.

Moreover, the swift response of the emergency services prevented the fire from spreading to other urban furniture and nearby automotive workshops.
