The Federation of Fogueres Reforms Its Statutes and Election System for Presidency and Board

The assembly of the Federació de les Fogueres de Sant Joan (FFSJ) has approved the project to reform its statutes, introducing changes to the voting and election system for the Presidency and its board of directors.

Among other modifications are articles related to the representation of various associations in the advisory body and the reduction of members in its Board of Directors, as well as the aforementioned changes in the voting and election system for the Management Commission and its president.

Before giving final approval to the modifications, the assembly had to vote on the amendments presented to the text. "Of the four amendments submitted, two originated from the Working Group that worked on the renewal of the texts, while the others came from the associations," explained the delegate of the legal commission, Jose Javier Berenguer.

"The Federation indicates that "ultimately, it was decided to include one of the amendments proposed to the Regulations, while another was withdrawn and the remaining two were rejected."

At the end of the meeting, with the changes approved, the president of the Federació, David Olivares, highlighted "the broad support of the assembly for the proposed text for both the Statutes and the Regulations, as they were passed with a number of votes far exceeding those required," while expressing gratitude for the work done by the Working Group formed for the reform of the Statutes.
