Alicante continues to establish itself as a benchmark in the training of healthcare professionals. Universidad Europea held an emotional graduation ceremony at its Alicante Campus, recognising the effort and dedication of those who have completed their Master's degrees in General Health Psychology and in Nursing for Emergencies, Critical Care, and Urgencies.
Presided over by Rector Rosa Sanchidrián Pardo, the event brought together students, families, faculty, and authorities. "This world needs you," affirmed the rector, highlighting vocation, research, and continuous education as fundamental pillars of a constantly evolving profession.
Education that Transforms, Research that Drives
The celebration of these new graduates not only marks the end of an academic phase but also advances a university project that champions knowledge as a driver of social transformation.
In this context, Universidad Europea reinforces its commitment to applied research with real impact through initiatives such as the Pfizer Chair "Vaccines for a More Sustainable World, Education and Research in Immunity."
This strategic alliance promotes the generation of knowledge, innovation in public health, and rigorous scientific dissemination, with a cross-disciplinary approach connecting fields such as nursing, psychology, and biomedicine.
The chair is structured around key challenges such as lifelong immunisation, the "One Health" approach, and the sustainability of the healthcare system, serving as a lever to train professionals committed to science, prevention, and collective well-being.
Moreover, the campus is an active part of the Alicante Health Cluster, a collaborative ecosystem that unites university, business, administration, and society to generate real responses to the challenges of the healthcare sector.

VEnCE: Science, Health, and Community
Universidad Europea's commitment to health extends beyond the classroom. The VEnCE (Live, Train, Cancer, Face) programme, developed alongside the Arena Alicante Sports Club, exemplifies how science, sport, and community can unite to improve the quality of life for people with cancer. This pioneering initiative, based on scientific evidence, has been operational since the start of the academic year, combining physical exercise, psychological support, and social assistance, reflecting the institution's transformative spirit. Looking ahead to the next academic year, the programme will expand its reach by incorporating new groups, thus enhancing its impact on the community and its commitment to holistic health.
Alicante, Epicentre of Healthcare Talent
With these new graduates, Universidad Europea consolidates its Alicante Campus as a reference point in the training of healthcare professionals. It is a space where knowledge is cultivated, research is encouraged, and bonds are forged that last beyond the academic stage.
