Volkswagen, the German manufacturer that revolutionised mobility with the iconic Beetle, is taking a giant leap into the electric future with the global unveiling of the ID. EVERY1 show car. This model, set to hit the market in 2027 with a starting price of around €20,000, promises to make electric mobility accessible to millions.

Volkswagen will offer the most diverse portfolio in the high-volume segment, ranging from efficient combustion engines to advanced hybrid vehicles and pioneering fully electric vehicles.

The up!, produced until 2023—the immediate predecessor of the ID. EVERY1—continues to impress with its clear and unmistakable design. Volkswagen's new design language also incorporates typical elements in the EVERY1.

According to Andreas Mindt, Volkswagen's chief designer, "Our goal was to create something bold yet accessible. The ID. EVERY1 is self-assured but remains friendly, thanks to features like dynamic front headlights and a 'smiling' rear. These design elements make it more than just a car: they give it personality and identity with which people can connect."

Following the ID. 2all and the sporty ID. Concept GTI, the EVERY1 is part of the Electric Urban Car Family and is based on the new modular electric drive platform. Thanks to the electric front-wheel drive, the MEB offers revolutionary space utilisation and maximum efficiency.

The prototype reaches a top speed of 130 km/h and is powered by a newly developed electric motor with an output of 70 kW (95 PS). The range is at least 250 km.

With a length of 3,880 mm, the ID. EVERY1 is positioned between the former up! (3,600 mm), the ID.2 all (4,050 mm), and the current Polo (4,074 mm). Inside, it offers space for four people and a boot volume of 305 litres.
