The Valencian Business Confederation (CEV) has introduced a series of urgent measures to mitigate the negative consequences of the DANA on the Valencian productive and industrial fabric. This was announced during a meeting held at the employers' headquarters between the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, Jordi Here, the Secretary of State for Industry, Rebeca Torró; the president of the CEV, Salvador Navarro, the president of CEV Valencia, Eva Blasco, and other regional officials.
Furthermore, the parties have agreed that the employers and the Ministry will establish a monitoring committee to evaluate the progress of recovery efforts across the industrial fabric in the most affected areas by the floods.
Thus, the measures have been divided into several categories: labour, fiscal, horizontal, and sectoral.
The president of the employers' association, Salvador Navarro, stated that with these measures "we aim not only to help businesses and citizens overcome this difficult time but also to ensure a faster and more robust recovery."
In the labour sector, relocation plans stand out, aiming to reintegrate those affected by ERES and ERTES into companies with fewer than 50 employees, as well as promoting temporary and permanent jobs in the most affected territories and sectors. Other measures in this package include flexibility in ERTES or improvements to the public health system to manage temporary disabilities caused by the DANA.
In the fiscal sector, the employers are calling for deductions in the IRPF for the repair of homes and businesses or exemption from IAE, IBI, and construction taxes for reconstruction activities. They also demand a simplification of procedures and zero-interest financing through the IVF.

In addition to all these, the CEV has launched a series of horizontal measures that include, among others, direct aid to companies, businesses, and individuals to repair damage to cars, facilities, and vehicles, or a fund dedicated to the replacement "of essential goods for business activity."
Finally, the last branch focuses on sector-specific measures, starting with infrastructure such as roads, rail lines, and energy supply networks, and flood prevention works. Regarding waste management, the CEV calls for flexibility in processing waste from affected areas.
In the primary sector, they are requesting aid for irrigation communities, agricultural, livestock, and beekeeping operations to repair damage and restore productive capacity. In construction, the employers demand "the exemption of work licenses for repairs or the flexibility of Labora calls, prioritizing payments to affected entities."
